CHURCHILL’S MESSAGE

CENTENARY OF OTAGO (P.A.) DUNEDIN, March 23. The Otago Daily Times has received a message from Mr. Winston Churchill in which he says: “On the one hundredth anniversary of the founding of the city and province I send the people of Otago my good wishes. It must be a source of pride and satisfaction to you all to know that you are upholding the sterling virtues of your Scottish founding fathers, and I trust that you may ever continue to thrive by your faithful industry and firm belief in freedom’s cause.”
