N.Z. SPEECH PRAISED

“LIKE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC” (P.A.) DUNEDIN, March 23.

In the opinion of Mr. G. Hoskins. South Australia, the speech of New Zealand people sounds “like the most beautiful music,” with each word softly and clearly spoken. This was stated by Mr. Hoskins at a conference of New Zealand Justices of the Peace which he is attending as a visiting delegate. But he was impressed also with other aspects of this country, he said. He had travelled in many parts of the world, including Russia, America and Canada, and never had met such hospitality as that of New Zealand. Travelling from Auckland through Rotorua and on to Dunedin, he had seen wonders of engineering which surpassed even those of the Canadian Rockies.
