INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 22. Tomorrow and Wednesday the national council of the New Zealand Carpenters and Joiners’ Union will hold a special meeting in Wellington to consider the present stage of the negotiations with the Government through the New Zealand Federation of Labour. While the New Zealand Workers’ Union is continuing negotiations over the terms and conditions of the proposed tribunal to consider the issues in the Mangakino hydro work strike, branches and local organisations throughout the Dominion are studying the question of financial aid to the Waikato men.

No further developments over the question of the tribunal for the Mangakirio dispute are reported.
