POSITION OF SUDAN EGYPTIAN KING’S TITLE (10 a.m.) LONDON, March 22. The Under-Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Mr. C. P. Mayhew, said in the House of Commons today that the King of Egypt’s assumption of the title of King of Sudan, -as approved in principle by the Egyptian Chamber of Deputies, could not affect the Sudan's international status as defined by the Anglo-Egyptian treaty.
