AUSTRALIAN PLANE GREEK MIGRANTS’ TRIP DARWIN, March 15. The chapter of accidents which has occurred since a Lockheed Hudson aircraft belonging to a Sydney company, set off for Athens on January 23 to bring nine Greek migrants to Australia is continuing. , , • The plane broke a wheel when taxiing to the hangar after its arrive in Darwin from Java and will be giounded for at least two days. On the journey to Athens, the plane was delayed four days at Cloncurry because of engine trouble, eight days in Singapore because its papers were not in order and five days in Cyprus because remittances from Australia to cover expenses bad not ariived. After seven days in Athens spent waiting for a petrol authority, the plane set out on the return journey but was grounded two days m Saudi-Arabja because of engine trouble, one day in Calcutta because of mngneto trouble and 15 days at Rangoon while awaiting remittances from Australia. While in Rangoon, the plane made charter flights to earn money to pay the hotel expenses of the passengers and the crew.
