ONLY FIVE LEFT IN OAMARU CUP

The Oamaru Jockey Club’s autumn meeting will open at Oamaru tomorrow. Satisfactory fields will be paraded, the smallest being in the Oamaru Cup, for which only five have been carded. The track has been hard for some time, but a heavy fall of rain earlier in the week should ensure satisfactory going. The win-and-place betting system will be in use.
