CATCHMENT BD. CHAIRMAN TRIBUTES TO SERVICE Although he expressed a wish that he be relieved of the chair to spread the responsibility among others well equipped to direct the affairs of the board with credit to themselves and the board, Mr. J. R. Hair was reelected unopposed for his third term at the annual meeting of the P.B. Catchment Board yesterday. Mr. H. M- White proposed that decision and the seconder, Mr. D. W. W. Williams, spoke of the excellent work done by Mr. Hair to date. He considered a change would be “a step in the wrong direction at this juncture.” Returning thanks for his re-election, Mr. Hair said he owed a debt of gratitude to members of the executive who, from time to time, had taken much responsibility from his shoulders. The ■ following committees were elected. —Executive, Messrs. Hair, E. M. Monckton, R. C. Murphy, H. M. White, H. de O. Chamberlain, and E. W. McEnnis; advisory research committee, Messrs, Hair, Chamberlain, E. A. Madden, McEnnis, G, M. Newman, and D. W- W. Williams; accounts committee, executive committee with two to form a quorum. /
