20 PERSONS MISSING COLLISION OF TANKERS ONE SHIP STILL ON FIRE (11 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 16. A broadcast from Curacao reported that eight bodies, including those of the women and children, had been recovered following the collision’ of two tankers. The search for the missing persons—--11 from Los Pozos, including her captain, and nine from the Cucupita—continues. , „ , Fog and rain are blamed for the collision, which occurred before dawn. The Cucupita exploded and the flames quickly spread to the Los Pozos. This afternoon the Cucupita was still on fire and was being carried by the current north-westwards along the Curacao coast. There is some hope that the Los Pozos might be salvaged, but the Cucupita is considered to be a total loss. _____________
