PROBLEM STILL ACUTE
DISPLACED PERSONS (P.A.) AUCKLAND., Dec. 16. The Jewish displaced persons in Austria was very serious, said Mr W. Collings, of Wellington, who has returned after several years in Vienna as an officer of an international refugee organisation. He said the organisation was relying on thq early partition of Palestine to solve the problem. There were 55,000 displaced persons of Allied nationalities in Austria as well as 180.000 displaced persons of other nationalities.
