OFFICIAL FROM CHINA (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. Starting his second day of work at Corso headquarters in Wellington today is Mr. N. Johnson, newly-appointed assistant New Zealand secretary. He is succeeding the present secretary, Mr. Clin Morrison, who is leaving in March for China. Mr. Johnson, who returned to New Zealand 10 days ago from China via Calcutta, left New Zealand in 1945 and was flown over the "hump” from India in July of that year to take up a position as business manager of a hospital conducted by the Friends Service Unit, the successor to the Friends’ Ambulance unit, well known to New Zealand soldiers in the desert.
