WELLINGTON DISTRICT OTHERS FOUND NEGATIVE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. An additional positive case of infantile paralysis was diagnosed yesterday from the suspected cases in the Wellington Public Hospital. This brings the total number of positive cases to five. In addition there are two patients on the suspected list as the remaining suspects have been diagnosed as negative. Of the three suspected cases reported from Nelson the last two from one family hqve been ruled out as negative. The same applies to the suspected case recently admitted to the Masterton Hospital. Replying to an inquiry as to how stores were responding to his advice to refrain from employing children in places where they were in close contact with the general public, the district medical officer of health. Dr. H. Smith, said the reports were that employers generally were co-operating very well in this respect.
