INDIA MAKES 188 SECOND DAY OF TEST AUSTRALIA 28 FOR ONE (10 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 15. On a good wicket, India could score only 188 runs in the first innings of the second Test match _n Saturday. The Australian bowlers performed extremely well and always had command of the play. India’s total, however, may prove a very hard one for Australia to surpass as further rain is forecast for the coming week. At stumps Australia had reduced the leeway by 28 runs and had nine wickets in hand. A feature of the game was the seventh wicket partnership by Kishenchand and Phadkar which helped India’s total to far more respectable proportions. Scores:— INDIA First Innings
