BUSHMAN KILLED
HIT BY FALLING TREE (P.A.) ROTORUA, Dec. 12. Fatal injuries were suffered by a bushman when he was struck by a tree during felling at Lee Brothers’ sawmill at Titukau, between Atiamuri and Taupo, yesterday afternoon. He was . , Mr. Daniel Graham, aged 30, married, with seven children. In falling the tree struck another and bounced on to Mr. Graham, pinning him to the ground and fracturing his spine. He died as the log was being lifted off him. An inquest was held at the mill and a verdict of accidental death was returned.
