CABINET RESIGNS

URUGUAYAN DISPUTE (10 a.m.) MONTE VIDEO, Dec. 12. The entire Uruguayan Cabinet resigned today following the resignation yesterday of the Foreign Minister, Senor Mation Marques Castro. The President, Dr. Luis Battle Berres, accepted the resignations and indicated that he would appoint a new Cabinet within 48 hours. Senor Marques Castro’s resignation is believed to have been prompted by the Congress’ rejection of 1,800.000 dollars anpropriation which he requested to recognise diplomatic and consular services.
