JURY’S £I3OO AWARD ; (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 13. i Special damages of £1250 with agreed : general damages of £55 12s were I awarded by a Supreme Court jury to Albert Robinson, a pastrycook, Wellington, following an accident when working at an electrical mincing machine. Following the injury, the plaintiff’s right arm was amputated below the elbow. He had claimed £3OOO special damages The jury on Separate questions found the defendant negligent and that the Dlaintiff was also negligent in a contributory manner. Counsel for the defendant moved for ; judgment on the grounds of contrit butory negligence. The plaintiff’s : counsel asked for an adjournment for t consideration of the verdict. This was granted.
