SUCCESSFUL SEASON

P.B. POLO CLUB ELECTION OF OFFICERS The year has been a very successful one and thanks were due to the officials and all members for their co-operation and to the general public for the support accorded, said the president, Mr. J, M. Monckton, at the annual meeting of the P.B. Polo Club, held in Gisborne on Thursday evening. Other speakers joined in favourable comment concerning the satisfactory position disclosed and it was decided to open the season oil November 1. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr. G. M. Reynolds; president, Mr. J. M. Monckton; hon. secretary, Mr. E. T. Brosnahau; hon. treasurer, Mr. F. Tolerton; club captain, Mr. F. J. Gaddum; vice-captain, Mr. A. Kirkpatrick; field secretary, Mr. R, J. M. Reynolds. • {5 Votes of thanks were accorded the various officials in appreciation of their services during the past season, the hon. auditor, Mr. C. A.
