RUSSIA ADAMANT
WIVES NOT TO LEAVE LONDON, Sept. 2. Russia has finally and irrevocably rejected the British request that Russia permit the wives of British ex-service-men to rejoin their husbands, says Reuter’s diplomatic correspondent. M. Vyshinsky “with regret” gave this decision to the British Minister at Moscow, Mr. F. Roberts. The British Foreign Office is considering what further stCDS can betaken.
