BLOMFIELD AND BELL TONIGHT’S ENCOUNTER The ability of the Auckland wrestler, “Lofty” Blomficld, to convert a missed flying tackle by an opponent into his own match-winning hold, the' octopus clamp has been one of the main factors in falls he has taken this season. Kay Bell who seldom misses, has been troublesome to Blomfield in several Bell makes prolific use of tackles and drop-kicks. He believes in shock tactics, and although his rashness has sometimes cost him matches, he feels that he is on the credit side with wins scored by such movesIn his meeting with Blomfield at the Gisborne Opera House this evening Bell is not likely to refrain from his favourite method of attack, but there is a chance that he will find the tactics expensive. Blomfield has never wrestled better and tonight’s bout should be full of lively action. . Five pairs of amateurs are to provide the preliminaries.
