BREAK PREDICTED
GREECE _& RUSSIA SOVIET COMPLAINTS REBELS MAY FORM REGIME (N.Z.r.A.—lleutcr— Copyright.) (11.30 a-m.) ATHENS, Aug. 11. The Greek Government newspaper Estia said that a break between Greece and Russia is likely to follow the Soviet Charge d’AfTaires’ complaint last week of ‘'unfriendly acts which are incompatible with diplomatic relations between the two countries.” The Estia said that Greece is awaiting a similar move by Yugoslavia. Political circles in Athens consider that if Greece and Russia sever diplomatic relations, the guerrillas may form a ‘‘free Greek Government’’ in the hope that Yugoslavia, Bulgaria. Albania and the Soviet would recognise it. The military commander at Komontini in Thrace warned the guerrillas that in future a lorry-load of Communists would lend lorry convoys. He said that if guerrillas mined the roads they would kill their own men.
