CHURCHES TO CONFER
DIVERGENCE IN VIEWS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 12. One hundred and eighty representatives of eight churches will attend a faith and order conference of the National Council of Churches which will be onened in Wellington on August 26. This conference will equal in irhoortance and will equal in importance and will succeed, the conference on life and work held in Christchurch in 1945. The Rev J. D. Growcott, Wellington representative of the Council, said that the conference would be an effort to see how far the churches agi-eed or differed on the fund ament 'ds of fa it h.
