ESCAPE FROM BORSTAL

TWO YOUTHS AT LARGE (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 12. Two men, both of whom have been convicted for car conversion, escaped from the Waikeria Borstal Institution and prison farm yesterday. They were Kenneth William Joseph Kerr, aged 21, and Mervyn Keith Pedlar, aged 20, neither of whom had been recaptured at a late hour last night. Pedlar disappeared at -2.30 p.m„ but it is not known when Kerr made his escape.
