TWO KILLED; ONE HURT
j CAR AND TRUCK COLLIDE ; (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 11. ; Two men were killed instantly and ja youth was seriously injured when a 'light car and heavy truck collided on 1 the Stratford-Toko road last night. They 1 were:— , KILLED Walter Stanley Goldsack, aged 28, of f Tariki. Jack Gordon Goldsack, aged 25, of Tariki. INJURED Joseph Beattie, aged 17. of Ngaere. Tiie car, which was driven by Mr. Walter Goldsack, met in almost headon collision with the truck, which was driven by Mr. Joseph France, motor transport driver, on the StratfordWhangamomona route. The two men killed were sons of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Goldsack, of Tariki. Beattie is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Beattie. Lyndon road, Hastings, and is employed by a farmer at Ngaere. His condition last night was reported to be serious.
