With four senior teams entered the i prospects are for very interesting paty j in the season's competitions ot the Toko i imaru Bav (East Coast) Rugby Sub union. Plans have been made to open the season on Saturday, but as the re-cently-prepared ground is not fully consolidated play will be conditional on line weather enditions. The senior teams entered are Waima, United. Mata and Tawhiti (Wnipiro Bay), United and Mata have been drawn to meet in the opening game. In the junior division Waima plays Tawhiti.
