DOMESTIC FUEL CUTS
BRITISH RESTRICTIONS 25% SAVING SOUGHT LONDON, April 25. The Minister of Fuel, Mr. E. Shinwell, in announcing domestic fuel restrictions, said that domestic consumers by voluntary economies in cooking and lighting are asked to save 25 per cent of their last summer’s consumption, which would mean a saving of 2,500,000 tons of coal.
