TWO GIFT PARTIES
Two gift parties have been given recently in honour of Miss Hazel McDonald, whose wedding to Mr. C. Masemann takes place on Saturdry . The first was a “bathroom” evening given by Misses Lyla and Ngaire Masemann at their home in Disraeli street. Games were enjoyed by the guests, each winner receiving a' small gift. After supper, the bride-to-be, assisted by, her matron-of-honour, Mrs. D. Gooch, 1 opened an array of useful gifts’ On Saturday evening, Mrs. D. Gooch gave a “kitchen’’ evening for the same prospective bride (who is her sister) at the home of her parents, Mr and Mrs. R. McDonald, Emily street. Games were played, the respective winners being presented with small prizes. During intervals Mr. S. Gooch and Mr E Lyndon gave musical items. The prospective bride was assisted by her hostess in opening her gifts after supper. y
