.USE OF JET-TURBINES BRITISH EXPERIMENT MEETING PEAK LOADS (11 a.m.) LONDON, April 22. The Central Electricity Board, in its annual report to the Minister of Fuel, Mr. E. Shinwell, says it intends trying to avoid disastrous cuts by boosting the peak* load output with jet turbines developed from the aircraft type.
