FILLING OF KARAPIRO
START NEXT MONDAY (P.A.) CAMBRIDGE, Mai eh 26. The State Hydro Department announces that the filling of Karapiro hydro lake will commence next Monday. The diversion tunnel will be partially closed, reducing the flow of the Waikato River below the works approximately three-eighths, of normal. It is estimated that the filling of the lake will take four or five days.
