CROWDED SCHOOL

PROTESTS BY PARENTS SYDNEY, Jan. 30.

Canley Vale public school will be declared black by parents unless the Education Department takes immediate .action to provide additional accommodation. Thirty-six youngsters between ’ the ages of six and seven cannot be accommodated in the main school buildings, and are housed in a Sunday school annex measuring 15ft. by 20ft.

A spokesman of the parents and citizens’ association said yesterday that the association had asked parents not to send their children to school as from next Monday unless the Education Department promised some action.
