AIR FORCE INQUIRY DENTAL OPERATION The circumstances in connection, with the death of a 17-year-old girl, Audrey Enid Gurr, of Moxham avenue, Wellington, at the Palmerston North Hospital on December 23, allegedly following the extraction of some teeth under an anaesthetic by a dental officer on the R.N.Z.A.F. station at Ohakea on December 22. were the subject of a court of inquiry conducted by the Air Department at Ohakea on Thursday and Friday last week. The officer commanding tiie station stated that the terms of reference for the inquiry and the court’s findings were strictly confidential to the Air Department and not available to the public. All the records in connection with the inquiry had now been forwarded to the department in Wellington.

The president of the court was Group Captain C. C. Hunter, officer commanding, Whenuapai, and with him were associated a dental officer and a medical officer.
