SOVIET PRESS CHARGES

MURDER OF AZERBAIJANIS BANDITS IN TABRIZ * LONDON, Dec. 19. The Soviet Tass News Agency, quoting a Teheran Leftist newspaper, alleges that 600 Azerbaijans were killed in persecution by bandit elements. The Moscow radio alleges that bandits, at the instigation of anti-Soviet elements, attacked Russian citizens and raided Russian institutions in Tabriz. Although the Persian Prime Minister M. SuJtaneh. assured the Azerbaijani leaders that the Government had instructed its troops to ensure order and freedom. Tudeh Party members had been persecuted. Bandit elements in Tabriz for days, had been arresting hundreds of people and shooting them on the snot, their bodies being scattered through the streets. The premises of the Tudeh Party, newsoapers and cultural institutions had been smashed.
