WHENUAPAI TO ENGLAND (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Dee. 9. The longest flights yet undertaken by aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force are expected to begin early next year with a series of trips from Whcnuapai to Northolt, F.ngland, and back by Dakotas of No, 41 (Transport) Squadron. It is expected that to this unit, which already operates the world's longest air mail service, using the same aircraft throughout, will fall tiie bulk of the Task of transporting to England the crews who will fly the newly-purchased Mosquito aircraft back to the Dominion.
