Prince Chevalier, the French racehorse which won the French Derby last June has arrived in England in exchange for British electrical goods and machine tools for France's engineering and textile industries and is now at Ashley Heath. Newmarket, the stud controlled by Lord Durham. The Daily Express says the exchange was negotiated by a British blood-stock agency for the English syndicate now owning the horse. NO REHANDICAP Bramble Song will not be rehandicappcd for the Auckland Cup, to be run at Ellerslie on December 2G, as a result of his win in the Plumpton Handicap at Avondale on Saturday. The winner of the Te Awamutu Cup at the Waipa Racing Club’s summer meeting on Saturday will not become liable to rehandicap for the Auckland Cup provided that only winners of a race or races exceeding the collective value of £SOO to the winner shall be subject to rehandicap.
