NEW PRINCIPAL

TRAINING INSTITUTE PRESBYTERIAN POST (P.A.) DUNEDIN. Dec. 9. The committee of .the women’s training institute of the Presbyterian Church lias appointed Miss Edith A. Kerr. 8.A., 8.D., as principal. The position became vacant .through the resignation of • Miss Doris. M. Arrowsmith on account of ill-health. The new principal comes from Australia. having graduated B.A. at the University of Melbourne and B.D. at Ihe Melbourne College of Divinity. Miss Kerr was trained as a teacher and served in that capacity for seven years prior to entering the Melbourne Deaconess and Missionary Training Institute, from which she graduated in 1920. In the following year she was appointed bv the Presbyterian Church of Victoria to its mission field in Korea, where she served for 20 years. In 1941 all missionaries were withdrawn from Korea and Miss Kerr returned to Australia.
