LONDON WOOL SALES
DEMAND IRREGULAR ALMOST FULL CLEARANCE (9 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 8. The London wool sales were continued on Friday with an offering of 40,682 bales of which 40.352 wer sold. The catalogue included 6,011 from New Zealand and 30,500 from Australia.
Competition was somewhat irregular. The best clean Merinos were in strong demand at full fii'mer rates. Other descriptions were quiet and occasionally in the bpyers’ favour. France and Belgium operated for the best lots while Bradford secured the bulk of mediums and low grades.
