FLAYER INJURED

KIWI TEAM’S LOSS - (P.A.) AUCKLAND, July 22. Few of the 35,000 spectators who watched the Kiwi v. Auckland Rugby' match on Saturday were aware that J. B. Smith, the brilliant centre of the touring team, played with a rib fractured and another cracked. Smith’s injury will mean that the Kiwis will be without his services for the remainder of the tour, although he left for the south with the team.
