FUNDS FOR CORSO
GENEROUS SUPPORT DISTRICT TOTAL £1066 Street appeals, shop-day takings, competitions and other sources of revenue have received excellent support from Gisborne and district residents in aid of the funds for CORSO, and the district organising committee in charge of the appeal is able to show the satisfying total of £1066 as the result of its efforts to date. The recent receipts include over £3O forwarded by the Tokomaru Bay branch of the Red Cross Society. The present position of the district CORSO fund is shown below: —
