AUDITOR’S CHARGES

MASONIC CLUB FUNDS

(9 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 15. At the adjourned annual meeting of the Masonic Club further allegations were made by the auditor, Mr. W. IT. Bayly. He charged that the club’s trading and financial position had not been fully protected and that there had been serious discrepancies in trading.

The meeting was attended bv 1600 members who split violently into two factions, supporting Mr. Bayley and the board respectively. After three hours of heated debate the meeting was adjourned indefinitely without reaching any decision.
