NAVAL STOKER GUILTY CONTACT WITH ENEMY (10 a.m.) LONDON, March 25. The naval stoker, Henry Herbert Rose, was found guilty on a charge ot traitorously holding correspondence with the enemy and was sentenced to 16 years’ penal servitude. . . He was acquitted on charges of giving information about radar equipment to the enemy and of giving information concerning naval and harbour facilities at Portsmouth to the enemy. Rose closed his eyes and swayed when he heard the sentence.
