MINESWEEPERS SOLD
CONVERTED TO TRAWLERS (P.A.) AUCKLAND. March 23. Three of the fleet of minesweepers constructed for the Navy in New Zealand during the war have been sold in Auckland .to Sydney buyers. The three vessels, the Aroha. Pahau and the Awatere, have been converted into fishing trawlers, and the two firstnamed ships will be towed to Sydney by the Government steamer Mafai.
