Napier Breakwater Extension

The harbour breakwater at Napier is to be extended for a further 500£t. at a cost of £IOO,OOO, following a decision at a meeting of the Napier Harbour Board. The acting-chairman, Mr. P. F. Higgins, said that the first extension to the breakwater had effected a considerable improvement to the harbour and it could be assumed that another extension would be similarly beneficial.
