PURGE OF MEMBERS
JAPANESE PARLIAMENT TOKYO, Feb. 10. The Japanese Government reported that at least 281 of 466 members of
the Kouse of Representatives will be disqualified from seeking re-election ' under General MacArthur’s purge directive and also about 147 Rightist organisations will be abolished, including 120 unnamed in the directive.
