ORDERED BY SWEDEN

Representing one of the biggest overseas orders ever obtained by the British aircraft industry, the de Havilland Company has contracted to supply the Swedish Government with Vampire jet-propelled interceptor fighters and de Havilland Goblin turbine engines. The contract also covers a licence for the manufacture of a Goblin engine in Sweden.
