FULL PRODUCTION

TEN NORTHERN MINES

FEDERAL INTERVENTION (9 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 12,

Ten northern coal mines which have been idle because of the strike by engine drivers are in full production again to-day following intervention by the Federal Government. Late last night the engine drivers agreed to begin work, enabling 3000 mine workers to resume.

The Central Coal Reference Board has been ordered by the Government to review as soon as possible the decision of the Local Reference Board, which precipitated the trouble. Meanwhile this decision will be held in abeyance.
