GERMAN WAR CRIMINALS
MASSACRE' OF RUSSIANS (9 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 31
Fourteen German war criminals, including three generals, were hanged on the Minsk racecourse with a large crowd watching after a military tribunal had convicted them of sharing in the killing of 20,000 civilians and prisoners of war, and_ destroying 94,000 Russian towns and villages.
