MEMBERSHIP OF UNO “TIME NOT YET RIPE” (11.30 a.m.) DUBLIN, Jan. 30. The Eire Prime Minister, Mr. de Valera, was asked in the Dail whether it is Eire's intention to apply for membership of the United Nations. “There is nothing to be gained by haste,” he replied. “The situation is not yet sufficiently clear or the time ripe for a decision to be made.”
