SCHREIBER’S SUCCESSOR MAJOR-GENERAL MILLER CANBERRA, Jan. 19. Brigadier Derek Schreiber confirmed the report that he and his wife, Viscountess Clive would be returning to England soon The report that Brigadier Schreiber would be returning about April is attributed to his former valet E. C. Field, about whose dismissal from the Hotel Kingston the stir has been caused.
Brigadier Schreiber said the appointment of his successor was approved by the Governor-General more than a month ago. His successor would be Major-General Charles Harvey Miller.
