MAN KILLED BY TRAIN

(P.A.) WANGANUI, Oct. 26. A pedestrian when he attempted to cross the railway line at the foot of St. John’s Hill yesterday morning was killed instantly by the engine of a mixecl train travelling from Aramoho to Wanganui. He was: Mr. Duncan Forbes McGill, aged 72, a retired farmer. Wanganui. He was slightly deaf and was walking from his home on St, John’s Hill to the city when the accident happened.
