ROUTE TO DOMINION

VIA SIBERIA AND JAPAN (9 a.m.) OTTAWA, Oct. 25. The Canadian Government is planning an air line to Australia and New Zealand, via Siberia and Japan, The Government is negotiating with Russia foi the establishment of the first section of the route. “In time this may be our best route to Australia and New Zealand and the Orient but that is a matter for future development ” said .the Canadian Minister of Munitions, Mr. C. D. Howe, in the House of Commons. Canada is also negotiating for the trans-Pacific route to be operated by the publicly-owned Trans-Canada Airlines, working with a company made up of the Governments of Australia and New Zealand and British Overseas Airways.
