OVER 252,000 KILLED WOUNDED TOTAL 651,128 (10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 3. The United States war losses in Europe and the Pacific were 252,885 killed, 651,218 wounded, 43,969 missing and 122,747 prisoners. The war cost 287,181,000,000 dollars. Ten million three hundred thousand were employed in the munitions industry alone.
