STAKES TO JACK’S SON ROYAL DALE SUCCESSFUL (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 27. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s National meeting coneludetl on Saturday at Addington before a record attendance. The weather was fine and the track in perfect order. The +otalisator handled £159.843, compared with £141,776 the same day last year. The total for the two days amounted to £290,597, as against £259,482 10s. Saturdays turnover was the highest recorded at any trotting meeting in New Zealand and also the highest recorded on any course in the South Island.
